How to maintain sleeping bags

According to the suggestions of down experts, the down sleeping bag can be cleaned once every 4 years. The down sleeping bag can be shared with the cotton sleeping bag lining to reduce washing opportunities, and the cotton sleeping bag lining can help absorb sweat.

Clean

1. Please use neutral detergent or special sleeping bag cleaner to clean sleeping bags. Do not use strong detergent, bleach and fabric softener;

2. The sleeping bag can be soaked for a short time before cleaning, and the head, collar, feet and other dirty parts can be gently brushed with a soft brush;

3. Sleeping bags can be washed by the front drum washing machine, but the top mounted turbine washing machine cannot be used. Before machine washing, turn the sleeping bag out, zip up and buckle up. Choose warm water and mild mode for the washing machine. Do not use the drying function. Strong centrifugal force will damage the fabric and lining of sleeping bags;

4. Please wash the detergent and soap foam thoroughly;

5. After cleaning, do not pick up the sleeping bag from one side, but from the bottom, otherwise the fabric and lining of the sleeping bag will be damaged;

6. Excessive frequent washing will damage the warm medium down of the sleeping bag, so please try to reduce the washing times on the premise of keeping it clean.

Dry

1. Sleeping bags should be placed flat and dry in a ventilated and dry environment to avoid direct exposure to strong sunlight, and ultraviolet rays will damage the nylon surface;

2. You can use a commercial dryer with a large capacity. Keep it dry at a low temperature and have enough room for turning the sleeping bag;

3. After drying, please continue to shake the sleeping bag and gently tap the tangled part of the down to make the down stretch completely. After the sleeping bag is restored to its original state, put it into the storage bag.

Deposit

1. Please choose a dry and cool environment for daily storage, and make sure that the sleeping bag is clean;

2. Do not store it in a compression bag. Long term compression will make the down or thermal insulation layer lose elasticity, thus reducing the thermal insulation performance. It is recommended to use the complimentary storage bag for storage, or use the bottom webbing to hang upside down in the wardrobe;

3. If it is not used for a long time, it is recommended to tidy the sleeping bag for a period of time, make it completely stretch and air dry, and reload it into the storage bag or hang it upside down.
